These terms describe how the Christ the King Alumni Association platform actually operates, written by the team that built it. They haven't been reviewed by a lawyer — in particular, have the payments, refunds and liability sections checked before treating this as final.
By creating an account or otherwise using ctkalumni.org ("the platform"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
The platform is for former students, current students, staff and other individuals genuinely affiliated with Christ the King Inter College, Tundla, along with anyone the association explicitly invites (for example, family members helping run an alumni chapter). You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to register.
We may verify your affiliation with the school and may decline or remove a registration that doesn't genuinely belong to the alumni community.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. Let us know immediately at ctkicalumni@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We offer optional two-factor authentication for extra security — we recommend enabling it.
Some features require an active membership, purchased through the platform. Membership fees, plans and what each plan includes are shown on the Membership page at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Razorpay — see our Privacy Policy for how that works. Unless a specific plan states otherwise, membership fees support the association's community activities and are non-refundable once a payment succeeds; if something goes wrong with a payment, contact us and we'll help sort it out.

You keep ownership of the profile information, photos, posts and other content you add to the platform. By adding it, you give the association permission to display it within the platform — to other members according to your privacy settings, and, for content you intentionally make public (like a Wall of Fame feature or a public event photo), on the relevant public pages.
Being listed in the alumni directory is part of joining the platform, but what other members can see about you — your mobile number, WhatsApp, email, address, education and work history — is controlled by your own privacy settings, described in our Privacy Policy.
The platform uses a small number of third-party services to function: Razorpay for payments, and Google or LinkedIn for optional sign-in. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, that we can't verify belongs to a genuine member of the alumni community, or as needed to protect the platform and its members.
The platform is provided by a volunteer-run alumni association on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or that information posted by other members (job listings, event details, directory entries) is accurate or current — verify anything important directly with the person or organisation involved.
To the extent permitted by law, the Christ the King Alumni Association isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under Indian law.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of Uttar Pradesh.
If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
