This policy describes what the Christ the King Alumni Association platform (ctkalumni.org) actually does with your information, written by the team that built it. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer — treat it as an accurate, working description rather than a final legal document.
The Christ the King Alumni Association is a community platform for former students of Christ the King Inter College, Tundla, Uttar Pradesh. We run ctkalumni.org to help alumni find and reconnect with batchmates, stay informed about events and news, and support the school community.

When you register and use your profile, we collect what you choose to provide:
If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from that provider — we don't receive your password for those accounts.
If you purchase a membership, payment is handled entirely by Razorpay, our payment partner — see Payments below.
We don't sell your information to anyone, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Your name, batch year, profession, company and country are visible to other logged-in alumni in the directory by default, so batchmates can find you — that's the point of the platform. Your mobile number, WhatsApp number and email are hidden from other members by default; you choose whether to reveal them from your profile's privacy settings. Date of birth, address, education and work history are visible by default but can be hidden the same way.
Association admins and moderators can see full, unmasked profile information where needed to run the platform (for example, to verify a membership or resolve a support request) — every such access by an admin is recorded in an internal audit log.
We don't publish individual member profile pages for search engines to index — they stay reachable inside the platform's own directory and search, not as public, googleable pages.
Membership payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed Indian payment gateway. When you pay, your card, UPI or bank details are entered directly into Razorpay's own secure checkout — they never pass through or get stored on our servers. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a transaction reference, which we use to activate and record your membership.
We keep your account and profile information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return, or as needed for accounting and legal record-keeping (for example, membership payment records). You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see below.

This platform is intended for alumni of Christ the King Inter College and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Passwords are stored as secure, one-way hashes — we can't see your actual password. Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Administrative actions on member accounts are recorded in a tamper-evident audit log. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, standard precautions to protect your information.
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated policy.
